Allow Tailor through Cloudflare
Cloudflare can mistake Tailor for a bot and block it. When that happens, Tailor Agent can't read your pages, so it can't tailor them. To fix this, add a rule in Cloudflare that lets Tailor through.
When you need this
Your site uses Cloudflare, and Tailor Agent says it couldn't read a page, or shows Cloudflare's "Verify you are human" screen instead of your site.
When Tailor opens one of your pages, it adds _tb to the address, for example example.com/pricing?_tb=1. The rule tells Cloudflare to let any request with _tb through. Your Tailor tag doesn't count these visits in your analytics.
Add the rule
- 1
Open custom rules
In Cloudflare, open your site, then go to:
Security rulesCreate ruleCustom rulesOn older dashboards: Security βΊ WAF βΊ Custom rules
- 2

Set what it skips

- 4
Deploy, then move the rule to the top

Allow Tailorto the top of your custom rules list. - 5
Free plan only: turn off Bot Fight Mode
A rule can't get Tailor past Bot Fight Mode. Go to the setting below and switch it off:
SecuritySettingsBot trafficBot Fight Mode
After you add the rule
- 1
Tell us which pages were blocked
Email support [at] tailorhq [dot] ai the pages Tailor couldn't read, so we can have Tailor try them again.
- 2
Ask Tailor Agent again
Once we confirm, ask Tailor Agent to tailor the page.
