Render time-sensitive elements in the visitor's own clock
Promising
Build this play with TailorWhen to use it
When the page states hours, cutoffs or availability as fixed copy and traffic spans timezones or arrives outside business hours.
How to run it
- 1Show live chat and the phone number only during the hours they are answered, and swap in book-a-time or leave-a-message outside them.
- 2State the shipping cutoff as time remaining in the visitor's timezone ("Order in the next 3 hours for delivery Friday") instead of a fixed clock time.
Why it works
Match what the visitor came for
Time-dependent copy written as static text is wrong for most readers, like chat offered at 2am. The adjacent evidence is consistent: time-remaining framing beats a stated date, and an unanswered phone number on the page's most trusted line is a broken promise.
