When to use it
When a form asks for email or phone with no privacy note near the button, or one that says 'spam', and its form-submission rate lags while its click rate is healthy.
How to run it
Add 'We guarantee 100% privacy. Your information will not be shared.' beside the submit button, and never use the word 'spam' in it.
Why it works
Make it safe to believe you
The word 'spam' primes the fear it denies, so the wording matters more than having a note. In ContentVerve's A/B tests, '100% privacy, we will never spam you' cut signups by 18.7%, while 'We guarantee 100% privacy. Your information will not be shared.' performed best in the series.
