When products genuinely run low or sell out but the page shows no availability signal.
How to run it
Show the actual count once inventory drops below a threshold ('Only 3 left in stock'), fed from live inventory data, never a hardcoded number.
Why it works
Give a reason to act now
Scarcity creates urgency and suggests the item must be good. Booking.com's 'Only 1 room left' and Amazon's low-stock counts work this way, though the EU forced Booking.com to clean up misleading scarcity displays.
