Sequence the components on what the visitor did with the last one

When to use it

When an offer runs as a single one-shot component and everyone who dismisses it is simply gone.

How to run it

1. 1Show the offer as a popup, then a slim reminder bar only to visitors who dismissed it without acting. Never show both at once.
2. 2Gate the follow-up on the click instead: visitors who clicked the offer's CTA but didn't finish get the reminder, everyone else gets nothing.

Why it works

Raise the perceived value of acting

Components shown together fight each other, but sequenced on what the visitor did, they compound. One case measured 72% more code applications from the follow-up bar than from the popup (vendor-reported).
