Build this play with TailorWhen to use it
When a calendar occasion is a few weeks out in a market that sends visitors to one of your top-ten product or collection pages, and the page copy ignores it.
How to run it
- 1Test an occasion-framed hero on the fitting product or collection for the two to four weeks before the date, like "the gift for the person who has everything" or "Q4 budget, spent well".
- 2Add a top bar naming the occasion and its real date ("Order by 18 December for Christmas delivery") that routes to the fitting collection.
- 3Target the occasion framing to its market, Boxing Day to UK visitors and Buen Fin to Mexican ones, and leave everyone else on the control.
Why it works
Match what the visitor came for
Shoppers buy for the calendar, and a page silent about an occasion three weeks away leaves that intent to a competitor. The occasion needs no discount: gift framing, a "ships in time for" line or a cutoff bar carries it.
